Kremlin 3.0 for Mac OS X Known Issues

1. Symbolic links issues

a) an attempt to securely delete a symbolic link directly causes the target to be deleted instead of the symbolic link. The symbolic link is not deleted but becomes broken.
On the contrary, the symbolic links within folders are securely deleted properly, i.e. the symbolic links are deleted and their targets are not.
b) symbolic link to folder appears in encrypted archive as empty folder with the link name;
c) broken symbolic link is not added to encrypted archive;
d) symbolic link to file appears as copy of the file with the link name in the encrypted archive.

The above issues do not affect aliases; they concern symbolic links only.

2. "Services -> Kremlin Text -> Encrypt/Decrypt" menu may cause some applications to crash
BBEdit crashes when "Services -> Kremlin Text -> Encrypt/Decrypt" menu is invoked.

3. Finder doesn't refresh folder view

When Kremlin decrypts archives, new files or folders are expected to appear in the Finder view. In some occasions, however, the view may show the decrypted files or folders only after the Finder is restarted. This issue is caused by the Finder refresh misbehavior.
